The ‘Welcome Place’ is our idea of a friendly Wingham welcome! Wingham Baptist Church offers the Church Centre facilities to our local community in a tangible, useful & accessible way.
The Welcome Place provides an opportunity for all to participate in some socialising, fun and enjoyment.
The parking is easy and we are wheel chair accessible.

Have you just dropped the kids off at school and need a little relaxation?

or just come to meet new people and enjoy
old-fashioned conversation and delicious food.
You can even bring your craft projects along and share your skillset with others.
THE WELCOME PLACE provides a morning tea of tea and coffee and a selection of home baked treats. Lunch is served around midday to your table. In summer time our menu offers generous salads with ham, corned beef and chicken options and in the cooler months we offer a hot meal such as a curry, bolognaise or lasagna and melts. Our verandah makes a great spot to sit for morning tea or lunch. Last orders for lunch are taken at midday to allow for service and clean up to happen in a reasonable time frame.
We are not a café or coffee shop but we are a
“Welcome Place” where you can meet friends or make new ones and enjoy a relaxing time.
A donation of $5.00 per person covers both morning tea and lunch.
