Jesus said, ‘Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation’ (Mark 16:15 ESV). Of course, there are many ways we can do this, and one of them is through scripture teaching in the local primary & high schools.
Besides providing two teachers for this important ministry in primary schools, Wingham Baptist Church is also partnering with the other churches of Wingham in the financial support of this ministry. This support allows for the purchase of teaching materials and teachers salary.
The teachers are all accredited, with the Baptist Association of NSW & ACT, for teaching scripture in schools and all teaching is done using accredited materials and a recognised curriculum.
Interestingly, the local churches around NSW are currently providing scripture teaching in over 80% of NSW schools!
