What to expect when you come to Wingham Baptist Church:
When you enter the door, you will be greeted by a friendly face who will give you a church bulletin, a welcome pack and a warm smile. You are free to sit wherever you wish.
The service begins at 9:30am and it includes songs, prayer, reading the Bible, sharing the Lord’s Supper (once a month) and teaching from the Bible. We occasionally have a guest speaker come and share their experiences and information about their organisation. This can focus on the work going on inside and outside Australia.
During the time of Bible teaching, the kids aged 2-12 are invited to go out to Kids Church and have a great time learning about God in an age appropriate way that includes plenty of fun, singing and craft.
After the service, we would love for you to stay around for morning tea. There is a great chance to get to know us a bit better and share some laughs while encouraging each other.
We are laid back and fairly informal. We love to share our journeys with each other and serve one another with love, grace and humility, just as Jesus modelled to us. We hope you will feel welcome to come and join us.
