Local Attractions

Wingham is a wonderful town situated on the Manning River, approx 3.5hrs from Sydney, NSW, and only 10mins from Taree in the Manning Valley.

Wingham is home to Wingham Brush, one of only a few remnants of subtropical floodplain rainforest found in Australia. A wonderful walkway winds its way around towering Moreton Bay fig trees where you will discover a large colony of grey headed flying foxes and resident scrub turkeys.

Wingham has many cafes and boutique shops to explore during your stay and enjoy the delights of fresh local produce, gifts and handcrafts.

Drive 38km down Tourist Drive 8 (west of Wingham)  and you will come to Ellenborough Falls, the 200m drop is one of the longest single drop waterfalls in the Southern Hemisphere, definitely worth the trip. For the adventurous there is the 641 wooden step climb to the bottom of the falls, or for the not so adventurous you can enjoy the majestic views from the viewing platform.

Wingham plays host to a number of festivals throughout the year including the Annual Show in March, Beef Week in May, Bonnie Scottish Festival in June and the Acoostik Music festival in October. Wonderful events to come and enjoy and explore this beautiful part of the world.

Anytime you are here exploring the sights and sounds we would love you to come and join us on Sunday Mornings at Wingham Baptist Church.

We look forward to seeing you!
